Fibroids: symptoms, evaluation & care

Fibroids are common non-cancerous growths of the uterus. Treatment depends on symptoms, size, location, age and pregnancy plans.

Fibroids consultation and patient care

What fibroids are

Fibroids develop from the muscle of the uterus. Some cause no symptoms and are found during an examination or scan; others affect bleeding, comfort or fertility.
